What kind of insurance needed for in home pet sitting business?
Mrs Z asked:
We live in NY state. I am considering pet sitting in my home as a side business. How do I go about finding out what insurance I would need? I want to protect myself from liability in case the dog I am watching bites someone or destroys property.
Also, if you know what type of license or permits I would need or where to find out about those in NY state, I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Thanks.
Aubrey

For list by animal expect it at 500 or so if the dog destroys his own house or so if someone is.
An issue because of business can be pretty expensive as they cant underwrite by zip code.
