When someone goes to prison for a longterm sentence, What happens to thier posessions, vehicle,home,pets?

i mean all of thier stuff, who gets it if they have no immediate family, and they will eventually get out and need these things.

   For and on what level sometimes they will be seized sometimes they can be seized sometimes if you the things are in your name then yeah they can prove it was not bought with proceeds from the family can be seized sometimes if the family can prove it was not bought with proceeds from the family.
