When treating for head lice in the home, do you need to remove pets while treating your home?

James P asked:

My adult daughter, (a Child care Teacher & Children’s Pastor) contacted head lice from one of her little darlins. She is wanting to treat her apartment, (bomb it with lice killer) for lice. She has a dog, I know that head lice only attack humans, but, will the treatments be harmful to her dog even post treatment??

Yes it would me harmful to pets when you treat your home. Try to put the dog in a place that is not being treated and after the treatment open all doors and windows to air out your home.
