I have a 2 year old dog and a 4 month old kitten. I have few odor eliminating air fresheners silica gel that contains charcoal. This help me keep the house smelling fresh and absorbs the pet odor. I do open all my windows as for the air ventilation.

just curious if silica gel or charcoal freshener are safe for my dog and cat as they breathe in some of the smell? \

The information that I have receive from internet and vet is that animals must be isolated for 4 weeks, hard surfaces bleached, bedding disinfected, vacuum bags replaced every day. 4 weeks?! Have 1 adult cat, 1 kitten and 1 Chihuahua. Only the dog is INFESTED with sores. If anyone has any helpful information or has dealt with this before, please let me know what I’m up against.
