When I got rid of the dog, I kept shampooing the carpets and using flea powder, etc. and it got rid of them for a couple months or more and then they suddenly came back. I dont know what to do. I have found home & store bought remedies for removing the stain and odor (mostly from carpets, rugs, and furniture). But not too much for removing the odor & stain from a hardwood or linoleum foor. And nothing to stop them from using the same spot again.
