What do you have to say about this, is it safe and have you ever had rats from pets at home and were they healthy and live a good life?

I was wondering if they would let me hold the rats before i buy them, to check if theyre healthy, i know what to look for but i cant really see the rats that well in their little cage things becuase theyre up high, above all the hamsters
